Amit Swami Honors Winners of Rewari Powerlifting Championship

Rewari, 28 September The District Rewari Powerlifting Association organized an exciting bench press competition at The Power House Gym, Sector 2, Bawal. Athletes displayed remarkable strength and determination, earning medals across various weight and age categories.

*Vidit Kumar (66 kg) lifted 60 kg – Gold Medal*

*Manish Khatana (83 kg) lifted 90 kg – Gold Medal*

*Junior Category:*

*Dushyant (74 kg) lifted 130 kg – Gold Medal and Strong Man title*

*Davinder Singh (120 kg) lifted 137 kg – Gold Medal*

*Senior Category:*

*Udal Singh (105 kg, Raw) lifted 177.5 kg – Gold Medal and Strong Man title*

*Praduman Arya (105 kg, Equipped) lifted 260 kg – Gold Medal and Strong Man title*

The winners were felicitated by Amit Swami, Director General of the Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation, National President of the Young Men’s Association of India, and President of the Gym Association Rewari. He lauded the athletes’ dedication, stating that their hard work brings pride to both the state and the nation. Swami also announced that more significant opportunities would be made available to these athletes in the future.

International Para Powerlifting athlete Sanjay Phalwan was also present, adding prestige to the event.

The championship showcased the athletes’ enthusiasm, discipline, and perseverance, reflecting the growing stature of powerlifting in the Rewari district.
