Amit Swami Demands Inclusion of Bodybuilding and Physique Sports in Senior School Classes

Rewari. Amit Swami, Director General of the Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation and National President of the Young Men’s Association of India, has written a letter to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Union Sports Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, demanding the inclusion of bodybuilding and physique sports in senior school classes (Classes 10 to 12).

In his letter, Amit Swami stated that bodybuilding and physique sports form the foundation of all sports and there is an urgent need to include them in senior school classes. This would help students develop well-structured and strong physiques and provide them an opportunity to showcase their talent by participating in school-level competitions.

He further said that including these sports in senior classes would encourage students to adopt regular exercise along with proper nutrition as part of their lifestyle. This would help create a strong generation of youth who, in the future, could represent the nation at the international level in bodybuilding and physique sports, winning medals and bringing glory to the country.
