Global recognition for promoting sports ethics, philosophy, and research

Rewari. Amit Swami, Ambassador-at-Large of the World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation, has achieved a significant international milestone by being inducted as a member of the International Association for the Philosophy of Sport (IAPS). The membership certificate was officially issued by Peter Hopsicker, Secretary of the Association.

Established in 1972, the International Association for the Philosophy of Sport is a globally respected organization dedicated to the development, definition, and promotion of sports philosophy. The association actively supports research, academic studies, and scholarship in the field of sport and philosophy, with its centers operating across universities and educational institutions worldwide. IAPS regularly organizes annual conferences, seminars, and webinars to advance discourse on sports, ethics, and philosophy.

Expressing his gratitude, Amit Swami said that he feels deeply honored to receive this membership and will actively work through the association’s platforms to promote sportsmanship, physical and mental strength, and ethical values among athletes.
