Sardar Patel, the Architect of United India; Indira Gandhi’s Contribution Will Always Be Remembered: Amit Swami

Rewari: The National President of the Young Men’s Association of India, Amit Swami, paid floral tributes to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel — India’s great freedom fighter and the first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister — on his 150th birth anniversary at the association’s office in the Auto Market area.

Speaking on the occasion, Amit Swami said that Sardar Patel was a true hero of India’s freedom movement. His farsightedness and leadership made it possible to integrate 565 princely states into one nation, earning him the title of the “Iron Man of India.”

He added that Patel’s role in uniting the country and shaping a new India after independence will always be remembered with deep respect. On this occasion, Amit Swami also paid homage to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on her death anniversary.

He said that, like Sardar Patel, Indira Gandhi was known for her courage, determination, and visionary leadership. Her contribution to maintaining India’s unity, integrity, and progress remains unparalleled.

“The nation will forever remain indebted to the Iron Man Sardar Patel and the Iron Lady Indira Gandhi,” Amit Swami concluded.

Among those present were Harvinder Jhanjra, Ishwar Pehalwan, Sonu Yadav, Mahendra Kumar, Manish Yadav, Mahavir Yadav, Rajendra Saini, Sachin, Suresh Sharma, Manish Gupta, and Shree Bhagwan Atri.
