Rewari – Amit Swami, National President of Young Men’s Association of India, Director General of the Asian Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Federation, and President of Gym Association Rewari, has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of WWE superstar and Hollywood-TV actor Hulk Hogan. His real name was Terry Gene Bollea. According to reports, Hogan passed away at his residence in Florida due to a cardiac arrest. He was taken to the hospital, but could not be saved.

Hulk Hogan began his career in 1977 with the WWF (now WWE). He gained worldwide fame during the 1980s and 90s through freestyle wrestling and won six WWE World Championships. In 2005, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame for his extraordinary contributions. Apart from wrestling, Hogan also appeared in several Hollywood films and TV shows.

Standing 6 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 135 kg, Hulk Hogan was a larger-than-life figure in the world of wrestling. He inspired countless fans globally and left an indelible mark on the sports and entertainment industry.

Amit Swami added that Hogan was a close friend of former U.S. President Donald Trump and a role model for many international superstars. He also served as an inspiration to Indian wrestling icon The Great Khali. In tribute, Swami and his team held a condolence meeting at their office in Auto Market, Rewari, where they paid homage and prayed for Hogan’s soul to rest in peace.

The news of Hulk Hogan’s passing has triggered an outpouring of grief from sports personalities, freestyle wrestling fans, actors, politicians, and institutions across the globe. Swami termed his death as a great and irreparable loss to the wrestling world.
