Amit Swami Demands Establishment of SAI Excellence Centre in Rewari

Rewari: Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation Director General and Young Men’s Association of India National President Amit Swami has written to Sports Authority of India (SAI) Director General Hari Ranjan Rao (IAS), demanding the establishment of an Excellence Centre in Rewari for bodybuilding, iron games, fencing, and football. He also urged the creation of an additional shooting range in the district.

Amit Swami stated that athletes from South Haryana are still deprived of SAI facilities, even though they have been consistently winning medals in these sports at various levels. He added that if an Excellence Centre is set up in Rewari, it would prove to be a boon for athletes of these disciplines and would help players from South Haryana bring laurels to the state and the nation by securing medals at national and international platforms.

Swami has also sent copies of his letter to Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Haryana Sports Minister Gaurav Gautam, and Rewari MP & Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh.
