Tom Alter Remembered as an Exceptional Artist and a Noble Human Being: Amit Swami

Rewari. On the death anniversary of legendary Hindi cinema actor, theatre artist, writer, and journalist Padma Shri Tom Alter, a tribute program was organized by the Young Man’s Association of India at the Auto Market office. National President Amit Swami, along with office bearers, paid floral tributes to the late actor.

Speaking on the occasion, Amit Swami said that Tom Alter was not only an outstanding artist but also a very humble and noble human being. From 1974 to 2017, he acted in nearly 300 films and popular TV serials, leaving a remarkable legacy in Indian cinema and theatre. He also authored notable books including The Longest Race and Return of Rialto.

Swami recalled his close association with the veteran actor and shared that Alter had visited Rewari several times. During the Dorian Yates Classic Body Building Championship, Tom Alter personally encouraged the participating athletes, choosing to stay with Swami instead of a hotel, spending the entire day with fans and admirers.

Several dignitaries including Ishwar Pehlwan, Praveen Aggarwal, Manoj Gupta, Naresh Yadav, sonu, Manoj Yadav, Sunil Chaudhary and Rajesh Sharma were present during the program.
