PRAISEWORTHY CONTRIBUTION OF AMIT SWAMI TO BODYBUILDING AND PHYSIQUE SPORTS: BIJAY LAL KAYASTHA

Bijay Lal Kayastha, Vice President of the Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation, Executive Vice President of the South Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation, Senior Vice President of the Nepal Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, and a 1992 batch IPS officer, recently visited Amit Swami, Ambassador-at-Large of the World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation and Director-General of the Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation, at his residence in Rewari.

During his visit, Bijay Lal Kayastha praised Amit Swami’s efforts to promote bodybuilding and physique sports, calling them unparalleled and praiseworthy. He also encouraged young people to take up the sport, citing its numerous benefits.

Amit Swami honored Bijay Lal Kayastha with a pagri, shawl, and mala, and presented him with a photograph of Datuk Paul Chua, President of the World and Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federations, as a memento. Amit Swami’s wife, Manu Swami, also welcomed Bijay Lal Kayastha’s daughter, Anusha Kayastha, with a mala.

IPS officers from various states also organized welcome programs for Bijay Lal Kayastha in their respective states.
